What you’ll need to make your eggs (not included):

• 113g unflavoured gelatin (avoid coloured or sugary types)

• 710ml water

• 1-litre glass or Pyrex measuring jug with a pour spout

• Wooden spoon

• 1–2 litre saucepan

• Your assembled silicone egg mold

How to make your fantasy eggs:

1. Mix 710ml of water with 113g of unflavoured gelatin in your pourable jug. Stir for 10 minutes until fully dissolved.

2. Gently heat the mix in a saucepan over low to medium heat, stirring constantly and do not boil.

3. Once it starts to steam, remove from the heat and allow to cool until just warm.

4. Pour into your assembled mold through the top openings.

5. Place in the fridge for 2–3 hours until set.

6. For the best texture and firmness, use the eggs while cold.
